Your website, email and any other internet services you provide are stored on and delivered by one or more computers. These computers are called servers. Servers host websites, email and other net services. These services are provided by software and this software is often labelled, for example, a web server or email server. The software may be on a single machine or there may be separate machines dedicated to each service.

- Our hardware is server grade built to meet the demands of 24/7 operations. Our servers use a dedicated hard drive to continuously back up your data. If the main drive were to fail the system immediately switches to the backup. You don't experience any downtime. We've got spare parts on site so that if repairs are necessary they can be performed quickly.
- We use 3 levels of protection to keep your data safe. In addition to the continuous backups we also backup your data to local backup storage several times a day. We also then take your data and securely and safely back it up to our remote disaster recovery location.
- Our hardware and network includes multiple levels of redundancy to make sure that a hardware or network failure doesn't result in a suspension of service.
- Our servers are protected by state of the art hardware and software firewalls. These firewalls protect your website from many of the attacks that circulate around the net, block attempts by users to upload malware and get rid of the worst of the email spam before you ever see it (in an average month that's tens of thousand of emails).
- We continuously monitor the performance of our servers and have automated systems in place to let us know the minute something goes wrong.
- We've got techs on site 24/7 to make sure everything's running properly and address any issues that might come up.
